I'm a few months late in writing this, but here I am in year 4 since my return to drawing. I hope you can see a nice progression from the early stuff to now in my gallery. 4 years from now I hope to still be at it and doing even bigger and better things AND doing them faster. So I've officially been drawing again for one year after a 20-year break! I look back at my progression and couldn't be happier. Nowadays things are moving digital. I recognized this very early on since my return and have been learning this whole new era of digital at the same time I'm relearning how to draw. Quite a learning curve. I'm still learning in leaps and bounds, but I feel I'm falling into a style I can call my own. A style which wouldn't have been possible unless I learned the digital stuff as well. Never messed with any of the Surfaces before this one. After playing with the SP3 for a week or so, I've decided that I like it. The biggest problem that I have is the glassy feel. The stylus glides too easily across the screen. This is a common problem amongst artists. It will be nice to see if Microsoft will release a softer nib or some kind of screen protector that will allow some friction to make it more like drawing on paper.
